Insite Pacific introduces the PEGASUS, high resolution, color CCD camera. The Pegasus has an 18X optical zoom lens and 12X digital zoom with auto focus capability. It will provide exceptional images in close-up and stand-off inspection applications. The Pegasus is supplied in a titanium housing, with 4,500 meter depth rating. It can be supplied with other housing and connector options to suit customer specifications. An exciting new feature of this camera is the Onscreen Display Menu, which is activated by the focus and zoom switches.
Control of Focus Auto/ Manual, Iris Auto/Manual, Backlight Compensation On/Off, Video Gain, and Video High Frequency Compensation are all done with the focus and zoom switches. A visual indication of the settings are overlaid on the video displayed on the TV monitor. The camera can also be controlled by Sony’s Camera Control software via a serial interface.
Also available with super wide-angle (approx 90 degree diagonal) hemispherical dome port.
