Insite Pacific introduces the ZEUS PLUS, a High Definition 3-CMOS color video camera with superior picture quality. With 2/3-inch 2,500,000 pixel 3-CMOS sensors the camera produces a horizontal resolution of 1,000 TV lines. The images are clear, detailed, and true to life accurate. High Definition Television (HDTV) provides almost five times more video information (2,500,000 pixels compared to roughly 410,000 pixels) compared to conventional TV systems. The camera can be provided in a housing rated from 1,000 meters to 7,000 meters depth. A glass hemispherical viewport and INSITE’s exclusive corrected optical lens system significantly reduces geometric and chromatic distortion.
The ZEUS PLUS has the standard analog video outputs of either HD Y/Pb/Pr or HD R/G/B and an HD-SDI digital video output. The camera can also be provided with a fiber optic connector to provide fiber optic HD-SDI video at 1.5Gbps. Our optional Wave Division Multiplexing System allows the Camera Controller and also the Lens Controller signals to be transmitted on the same fiber as the 1.5Gbps HD-SDI video.
A Camera Controller provided with the system allows control of all camera functions including iris. INSITE’s exclusive professional Lens Controller allows you to control zoom and focus. The zoom is controlled by using a single axis rate control joystick and the focus by using a slide potentiometer for precise positional control.
